- Provide professional advice, guidance, and in-service training to staff regarding the care and support of individuals.
- Collaborate with the Responsible Person to uphold and continuously improve the quality of services through regular monitoring, audits, and process reviews.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly reports to the Responsible Person.
- Lead the support teams, ensuring effective implementation of behaviour management strategies.
- Ensure that all risk assessments, support plans, and person-centred plans meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and checks on records and documentation related to the people we support.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, including those relating to quality assurance, safeguarding, data protection, human resources, and health and safety.
- Oversee the preparation of staff rotas, manage resources efficiently, and minimise reliance on agency personnel.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with commissioners, external professionals, families, carers, staff, neighbours, and the wider community.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and develop services, while addressing and challenging poor practice.
- Participate in the on-call rota, providing advice, guidance, and direct support as required.
- Manage all aspects of staff performance, including recruitment, supervision, appraisal, training, and, where necessary, disciplinary procedures.
